My life has never been easy but you could never tell by the way I live my life. I've been through a lot of adversity from day one. People sometimes ask me "how do you do it?" My simple response is, my confidence. Growing up I was never treated like I was in a wheelchair or disabled. I credit this to my parents. My mother always believing in me and me dads strict side has made me become a more dependent and strong person. Another thing that has kept me going all these years is my love for sports, and most of all the game of Football. I was never a good singer but love music or the type of person that would sit down read books all day long. No, I was that sports junkie who would sit in front of a TV and watch the Dallas Cowboys game even when they were losing. Troy Aikmen was my idol! I've always wanted to be a QB just like Troy but my disease would never allow me to do that. Until I got the greatest opportunity of a life time. In 2004 I was named assistant student coach of the Western High School Wild Cats. This was one of the greatest moments of my life! I am now going to Broward College and working on eventually getting my communications degree. I want to see the world and experience new things because I know life is to short and sometimes we take it for granted. I also want to reach out to people and tell them my life story and hope to change someones life for the better. So I'm just going to leave you with this and hope to connect with you someday.
